Techniques For Automatic Gate System Maintenance
Regular maintenance is necessary to guarantee the automatic gate system operates normally and prolong its service life:
Products Description
Inspection of look
Examine the gate's appearance daily to see if any components, such as the bracket, chassis, and gate rod, are broken or malformed. For instance, look for scratches or peeling paint on the chassis's surface, as well as any cracks or bends in the gate rod. If there is damage to the appearance, it should be fixed or replaced right away to stop the issue from getting worse and interfering with the gate's regular operation.
Verify the power supply and line connection
Verify that the gate's power supply and line connection are normal. Additionally, look for any damage to the power cord, loose plugs, etc. Make that the line connecting components are tight and free of oxidation or looseness. If a damaged power cable is discovered, it should be replaced promptly to prevent leaks or short circuit incidents; if the plug is loose, secure it with electrical tape. To guarantee the line's safety, simultaneously inspect its insulation.
Cleaning
To prevent dust or stains from interfering with regular operation, clean the gate's surface and sensor on a regular basis. To keep the interior and exterior of the chassis clean, use a feather duster or a clean soft cloth. For the gate rod, you can use a clean damp cloth to wipe away dust and grime from the surface. Because dust or stains can interfere with the sensor's ability to detect signals, extra care should be taken when cleaning sensors (such as photoelectric sensors, ground induction coils, etc.). For instance, dust accumulation on the photoelectric sensor's infrared transmitter and receiver could result in imprecise vehicle identification. At this point, you can gently wipe the sensor's surface with a clean cotton ball dipped in a little alcohol, but take care not to harm it.
Inspection of the control system
Verify that the gate's control panels, relays, motor controllers, and other parts are operating as intended. Verify that the motor controller can accurately manage the motor's functioning, that the indicator lights on the control panel are lit regularly, and that the relays can be drawn and released normally. Troubleshooting must be done promptly if aberrant conditions are discovered in the control system, such as the indicator lights not being on or flashing, the relays being abnormally attracted, etc. Multimeters are among the tools that can be used to identify the circuit, identify the source of the problem, and fix it.
